International Multi Disciplinary Research Conference on Women in 21st Century Challenges and Opportunities.
On
9th and 10th February 2018 International conference was
conducted by the Management Studies of CH.S.D.St. Theresa’s College for Women
in collaboration with Women Cell and Department of Social Sciences.
Dr.
A. Uttama Durga Devi was the convener, Dr. P. Ratna Mary was the organizing
secretary, co-coordinating secretaries are prof. T. Rajeswari, President of
Primax Foundation, Dr.V. Selvaraj Secretary, Primax Foundation.
Mrs.
Santhosh Jhawar got the best paper presenter for the topic "Education as a
ladder for Indian women." Mrs. Hymavathi and Mrs. R. Mohini presented the
papers.
INNOMAN – The State level Management Fest has been organized by the Department of Management Studies since 2012 to provide a platform for the management students from all over the state to inspire each other.
On 7th February 2018 Innoman was conducted by the department of Management Studies. Dr. A. Uttama Durga Devi(HOD) was the convenor, Mrs. Santhosh Jhawar was the organizing secretary Mrs.K.Hyma vathi, Mrs. P. Vijayalakshmi, Mrs. G. Hepsibah, Mrs. R. Mohini were the organizing committee members. In this events like-young manager cognition expo, market myopia, Buss. Quiz was conducted.

Marketing Workshop:
IIM Calcutta
Carpe Diem in association with Makeintern organized a 2 day program on digital
marketing workshop in CH.S.D.St. Theresa’s college for women, Eluru which was
held on august 11th to august 12th 2017. The resource
person Mr. Haribabu explained about the importance and effectiveness of using
internet/online media of advertisement. The students of MBA and BBA got trained
in blog creation, website building, social media marketing through internet and
use of alexa in web ranking.
On basis of the training provided in the workshop a screening a test was conducted for the students present there among them S.J.L Nivedita, P.Priyanka, G. Bhavya, P. Archana got selected to participate in international B-Plan and in the month February 2018 they presented a business plan for the final event at IIM Kozhikode for International Business Plan Championship in Echoes 2018.
BEMUS 17
BBA students P.Priyanka, S.J.L Nivedita, Latha, Sonia, Aieshma, Meghana, Soumya, Archana, Pravallika and Ravali participated in BEMUS 17, a national Level inter-collegiate commerce festival held on 11th and 12th September 2017 at Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada for the Under Graduate Commerce students.
Management Exhibition Knowledge Plaza is organized by the Dept of Management Studies. The students manage stalls where they display products and services for sale. It helps them to learn the marketing and communication skills.

INTERNATIONAL EDUCATIONAL TOUR TO SRILANKA
The staff and students of the
Department of Management Studies visited Srilanka on an Educational Tour from
